Statistics about down syndrome
This shows how Down Syndrome is more prevalent in mothers that give birth at the age of 34 and up. The risk of having a baby with down syndrome is close to nothing at the age from 20-34, but the risk increases as the age does. From 30 years old the risk begins to increase rapidly.
This shows that the age that down syndrome prevails is usually around the ages of 0-3 but can still show up layer on. This graph also shows that Down Syndrome can still appear later on in life. The amount of CHD's is 50/50 in kids from 0-12.
This shows how mothers with kids with down syndrome are more likely to have an abortion at the ages of 10-35. The mothers ranging from ages 45-60 are less likely to have an abortion if their child has down syndrome. If your kid has down syndrome this is not a reason to get the abortion at all.

This means that more kids with down syndrome are being born and not aborted, this is good.
